Pastor Salvador Bracamontes was born on September 20, 1944 in Tuxcueca, Jalisco, Mexico to Martin and Refugio Bracamontes. They later moved to Ejido Monumentos, in the outskirts of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora where his family was introduced to Christianity. Pastor Bracamontes came to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ by Rev. Felipe Soria Gonzalez in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico, after being filled by the Holy Spirit in October 1964.
On June 25, 1967, he married the love of his life, Miss Esther Soria Garcia, in Ejido Monumentos of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora. With whom he raised a family of six children, four boys and two girls. Pastor Salvador and his wife were blessed to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary and renewed their vows on June 24, 2017.
On April 26, 2009, he was named pastor and along with his wife worked for the Lord in the Church of Amargosa Valley, Fuente Poderosa de Misericordia, until the Lord Jesuschrist called him to His Presence.
Pastor Salvador Bracamontes is survived by his wife were blessed with six children: Salvador Jr., Benjamin, Anatolio, Felipe, Maria and Erika; twenty-nine (29) grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Anatolio, Maria Dolores, Jose, Maria de la Luz, Martin Jr., and Sara.
Pastor Salvador Bracamontes is preceded in death by his father, Martin Bracamontes; his mother, Refugio Bracamontes; his sister, Maria Felix; and his granddaughter, Adriana Esther Alvarez.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards the Apostolic Assembly of Christ Jesus, Bishop President John Fortino and his governing board, all the pastors and their churches that had our family in their prayers, IDCN Sector V’s Pastors and their leaders, our congregation in Amargosa Valley for their love and support. To our friends and family, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc., for keeping us uplifted in these trying times, words cannot begin to express our gratefulness for such kindness.
