Mrs. Rosie Saddler (Marion) was born on April 21, 1937 in Rosebud, Texas to Ollis Marion and Jessie Johnson Marion. She and her family moved to Midland, Texas as a young girl, where she later met and married her husband Willie Saddler Sr. To that union they were blessed with 6 beautiful children, in addition to her 5 stepchildren who she loved like her own. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Ollis Marion, 3 daughters Sandra J Saddler, Betty Tennison, and Mary Lewis; and great granddaughter Yasmen Collins.Rosie was a homemaker for several years before joining the MISD Transportation department, where she retired after 20+ years. Rosie was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for many years spreading the Lord’s good word to as many lost souls as she could. She was well known for her wonderful smile and her sweet & caring demeanor, almost as much as she was for her famous yeast rolls and desserts.She leaves to cherish her sweet memory her eight children, Willie L. Saddler (Vickie), Annie R. Saddler, Linda K. Saddler and Raymond L. Saddler, all of Midland, TX, James Saddler of Dallas TX, Willie Saddler Jr. (Joyce) of Houston, TX, Helen Swearinger (Mike) of Katy, TX, and Patricia Luke (Micky) of Houston, TX; 1 sister Ollis (Lorine) Marion, 3 brothers Curry Marion, James Marion, Henry Earl Marion all of Midland TX; 30 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.Rosie will be in state Thursday and Friday, August 3 and 4 from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland. Interment will follow at Resthaven North Cemetery.,
