Rosan Sisson, 74, of Stanton, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in a Midland nursing home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Stanton.She was born July 14, 1938, in Kansas City, Missouri and married Darryl Floyd Sisson September 24, 1954 in Stanton, Texas.Rosan moved to Stanton in 1952. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, Darryl Sisson of Stanton; two son, Darryl Sisson II of Midland and Neal Sisson of Stanton; one daughter, Deana Jones of Greenville; one brother, Brent Beckman of Walker, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and two sisters.Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton. Aunt Rosan held a very special place in my heart! As a kid, coming to Texas every year was the highlight of my year to come and visit everyone. I have so many happy memories of Aunt Rosan. After my Mom passed away, she was the next best thing to share my stories and problems with, she always listened and didn't judge. She did offer opinions and advice though! I will miss her very much!!! I love you all!
