Ronnie Eugene Meek passed away peacefully on January 23, 2024, at the age of 70. Funeral services to celebrate Ronnie’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 26, 2024, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

Ronnie was born on May 1, 1953, in Big Spring, Texas, to parents Thelma Mae Brumley and Robert Finley Meek. Ronnie graduated from Big Spring High School in 1971 and joined the United States Army on May 31, 1972. He served until August 3, 1980. Ronnie worked as a Radio Technician throughout Texas but was a long-time resident of Big Spring.

Ronnie will be remembered for his passion for music and self-taught talents. He leaves behind his children, and grandchildren who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

He was preceded in death by his mother Thelma Ditto, and his brother Raymond Meek.

I had the privilege to work with Ronnie at Basin 2 Way with Kevin and Carolyn. Ronnie was so good to be around. I enjoyed him sharing his stories and just being an easy going, friendly guy. We talked about music a lot, and man did he love music. I always found it fascinating how he could pretty much pick up any instrument and play it. He was extremely talented not just in music but in his work too. I’ll miss popping into the shop to see him. Our prayers to his family.
