Ronald Dean "Ronnie" Gillihan, 57, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2005, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel, 3800 N. Big Spring St. in Midland with Rev. Dudley Mullins , officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. The family will recieve friends on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.He was born on April 23, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas to Doyle Mitchell and Faye Marie Gillihan. He married Nelda Kinsey on October 15, 1993 in Alpine, Texas.Survivors include his wife, Nelda Gillihan of Midland; one son, Kenneth Wayne Gillihan of Converse; one daughter, Deborah Ann Gillihan of Odessa; one step son, Clifton Sikes of Midland; one step daughter, Kindra Len Holder of Mandeville, Louisiana; a sister & brother-in-law, Annette & Ross Smith of Granbury; six grandchildren, Chelsea Gillihan, Keali Gillihan, Kinsey Holder, Jeff Holder, Austin Sikes, and Chris Clardy.He was preceded in death by his parents Doyle Mitchell and Faye Marie Gillihan.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
