Mary "I love You" and i am praying for you! Winning that fishing tournament with Ronnie, when I was just a boy, will always be one of my fondest memories of my youth. The look on my mom's face when Ronnie mounted that fish for me was classic. He really got a kick out of that.....He was a wonderful man.God is with you,...I wish peace and comfort over you to get you through this rough time... Love Jamie and Mandi Williamson

Mary, Rhonda and Gary, Just heard about Ronnie from Morgan. I can't remember a time when I didn't know who y'all were, and always appreciated what you meant to us as friends, community servants, part of the church, and just life in general in Stanton. Lots of those old friends are reunioning in heaven these days, and Ronnie will lead them off on the first tee. He helped me learn golf, which I still play today. Rhonda and Gary, your friendship through all of our school years remains a highlight of my younger years. My condolences to each of you, and my thanks for all the times each of you and Ronnie was there for us in our times of loss. Robert Cox and Family (Dixie, Cameron and Destiny)
Shelly Purpura left a message on February 9, 2010:
Im so sorry to hear Paula passed away. We were really good friends in school and spent many years running around and doing crazy things. We both went in different directions making a life for ourselves, I have thought of the Mahaffey family on many occasions, remembering many fond memories. Even though I have not kept in touch with Paula I will miss her. There are people in your life that form some of your personality and the way you view life, Paula was one of those people who I have strong memories of. She was carefree and thought of others always cheering people on. Our passion for softball and the love of sports we shared back then seems to have continued on for Paula as well as myself. My prayers for Connie, Nancy and Paula's husband and daughters are God would comfort you and surround you with His peace and love. I will continue to pray for you that God would sustain you in the weeks to come and you would find comfort in knowing Paula is with our Lord and Savior and that gives you hope that we will all meet again. Connie and Nancy I love you and wanted you to know how sorry I am to hear about Paula. Maybe someday we can have a good conversation about the good old days. Love Shelly Wade-Purpura
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

As a child I had the privilege of knowing Hoyt and then later, I had the privilege of having Ronnie and Mary as friends. My prayers and love are with you. They just do not make them like Ronnie anymore, he was "the cream of the crop". When my mom passed away, I told him he sure did make her look beautiful and he said "Well, it is easy when you have an angel to work on." I will always love you.....

Ronnie (and Mary) will always be fondly remembered by my family, all the Pointers and the Greshams (Farrington). They have helped us immensely through our trials throughout the years and I'm glad they have everyone there for them also. Janie Boadle and I were so blessed to get to visit Saturday. What a long good tribute of a life in Christ Jesus!
