Roman Perea Pallanes (Romie) was called to be with our Lord on May 24, 2008. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 N Big Spring ST, Midland, Texas. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Thursday, May 29, 2008 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Emilio Sosa and our cousin, Father Trinidad Fuentes of the Queen of Peace Parish of El Paso, Texas, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Midland. Pallbearers will be Abrian Pallanes, Mark Rodriguez, Dedrick Pallanes, Joshua Pallanes, Zachariah Pallanes, Andres Urias, Samuel Vasquez and Jesse Rodriguez.He was born to Isabel Sais Pallanes and Lucia Perea Pallanes on May 21, 1964 in Pecos, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Isabel (Chester) Sais Pallanes, and his brothers, Norman Pallanes and Jason Pallanes. He was married to Romelia Urias Pallanes and is survived by 5 children, Erica Pallanes of Arlington, Texas and Abrian Pallanes, Audrey Marie Pallanes, Jasmine Mirella Pallanes, and Norman Gilbert Pallanes, all of Midland, Texas and one grandchild, Daniel Cano of Arlington, Texas; also 1 brother, Nathan Pallanes; 2 sisters, Lisa Pallanes and Stephanie Herrera, all of Midland, Texas.He was a very loving son, husband and father. He graduated from Hobbs, New Mexico High School in 1983, then immediately afterwards began to manage his father's service station. He made his living for many years in the Petroleum Industry as a Roustabout Tool Pusher. He was an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Midland, Texas. He was a Cursillista.Roman loved the Good Lord, life and his family with all of his heart. He enjoyed every moment he had with his family and let it be known often that he loved us. He will be immensely missed by his family and friends.2 Timothy 4:6"The time of my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
