Roland Aranda, 45, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Houston Methodist Hospital. A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 am, Friday, July 24, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parrish and Shrine in Midland, Texas. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas.Roland was born on August 9, 1969 to Marcella and Raul Aranda in Kermit, Texas. Roland was a loving, caring, and full of life individual. He had a heart of gold and was known for his hearty, contagious laughter. He loved spending his time fishing and outdoors in the mountains of Ft. Davis. Roland always enjoyed outdoor cooking.Roland had a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and minored in Sociology. He was married to his wife, Diana, for 23 years. The two had one daughter, Leandra, four grandchildren, and four dogs. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.He is survived by wife, Diana of Midland; daughter, Leandra Rubio and husband, Homero; grandchildren, Gavino Jr. Reyes, Angelyna Rubio, Homero Rubio, Jr. and Nickolaih Rubio; parents, Raul Aranda of Ft. Davis and Marcella Aranda of Bryan, TX; sisters, Veronica Aranda of Bryan, TX and Irene Urquidi of Ft. Davis; and nephews, Joseph M. Pemberton, Calob Urquidi, Matthew Moreno, Delila Ontiveroz, Fabian Moreno, Isaiah Moreno and Justin Moreno.He is preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Aranda and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lozano, Sr., and nephew, Daniel Moreno.The family would like to express their gratitude towards the Nora’s Hospitality Home and Methodist HospitalPallbearers will be Arturo Moreno, Daniel Siller, Homero Rubio, Hector Jr. Ibarra, Joseph M.
