Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Alan McGuire, Rev. Gary Smith and Rev. Calvary Callender, officiating. Lynn and Taylor, Your family has meant so much to mine. When I first met Roddy, I knew right away he was a character. I don't know very many people who are so comfortable with who they are in Christ that they can just be who God made them to be. Roddy never struggled with that. He wasn't perfect. And he knew it. But he was never afraid to be himself. He taught me to be who I am...IN Christ...Well, I'm still learning. I love you guys so much. I know Mike does, too. He would have to share his stories...but I KNOW I am speaking on his behalf when I say what a blessing and pleasure it was for Mike (and me) to know him. I know he (and you) have had an impact on Mike's life. He may not have been where he is today had it not been for the love and prayers both of you showed him in those early days. Thank you...from my whole family. I am heartbroken for both you and Taylor. But, I take comfort in knowing that Roddy is dancing with the angels. I can't wait to join him.
