Rodney Allison, 66, of El Paso, formerly a teacher at Big Spring High School, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in an El Paso hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. He was born on October 5, 1942, in Colorado City, Texas,and married Margaret Donnelly on July 3, 1973 in Big Spring. Rodney taught from 1964-1974 at Big Spring High School. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Allison of El Paso; a brother, Preston Duane Allison of Austin; a niece, Mindy Rodriguez of Midland; three nephews, Corey Allison of Irving, Dan Donnelly of Kalispell, MT and Doug Donnellyof Killeen; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ozro Allison in 1971 and his mother, Vaurine Milliken Smith on August 28, 2004. The family suggests memorials may be made to:Thru the Bible Radio Network, P.O.
