Robyne L. Gwynn, 63, of Midland , died on Saturday, October 21, 2006 in a local hospital. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.Robyne was born on April 17, 1943, in Abilene and married James Gwynn on August 16, 1977 in Oklahoma. She worked for an insurance company as a supervisor for 20 years before retirement and moved to Midland in January of 2000. Robyne and James were active in the Citizens on Patrol. She enjoyed SCUBA diving, fishing, camping and was an avid antique collector. Survivors include her husband, James Gwynn of Midland; two sons, Tracy Whitehurst of Mesquite and Leroy Whitehurst of Garland; one sister, Kyle Frick of Dallas; two brothers, Malcolm Tidrow of Cedar Creek and Van Tidrow of Dallas; four grandsons, Jeffery Whitehurst and Justin Whitehurst of Mesquite, Michael Whitehurst and Martin Whitehurst of Garland; a niece Khristi Prunty and a nephew , Jason Frick both of Lone Oak and many great nieces and nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Mildred Tidrow.
