Robin Charles Barnett, 55, passed away peacefully February 23, 2014 at his home in Midland, Texas. Robin was born in Midland, Texas, Nov. 1, 1958.He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1977 and attended Midland College. Living in Midland, he worked primarily as a landman, most recently with XOG Operating.Robin was known for his kindness, gentle spirit, and keen sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, and good friend. He loved his family, friends, and dogs. Robin had a passion for spending time at the lake; fishing with his sons and brothers. He enjoyed sports, traveling, and outdoor activities.Robin is survived by his wife, Julie Barnett, and sons Robert and Matthew Barnett, all of Midland. Surviving siblings include Alan Barnett of Ft. Worth, Clifton Barnett of Farmington, Karen Barnett of Midland, five nieces and one nephew.He was preceded in death by his son, William Barnett and his parents, Raymond and Caroline Barnett of Midland.,
