Robert Wayne (Rob) Ethridge, 71, of Coahoma, died on Saturday, March 24, 2001, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, March 26, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Elwin Collum, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Coahoma, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. He was born March 22, 1930 in Abbott, Texas to Pat and Weeta Ethridge. His family lived in Gladewater until he was in sixth grade when his father was transferred to Kermit with Sun Oil Company. Rob attended Kermit public Schools and graduated from Kermit high school in 1948.
