So, so many memories about Robert - lots of Sonic trips, spades and canasta tournaments, and sharing of music and Jesus. He was far from perfect, but invested in so many over the years to lead them to Jesus. Praying for every family member to know peace, comfort, and grace through Jesus.

So many fun memories, our love for fishing brought many fun conversations. Doug I was always so impressed when I would watch Robert and all the Caraway cast as they taught in a way that children loved and learned. Shae was able to quote Philippians 4:13 before she was 3 because of learning it in Caraway . All of my Grandchildren got a good foundation through Caraway. I am very thankful for the love Robert shared with our family and so many others. Lorna

I first meet Robert while attending Caraway Street at Cottonflat Baptist. From Dr Magical to the many other characters he played many learned of Jesus and His love. He also lead an amazing youth group. As years went on I've attended many funerals where he spoke. His words gave so much assurance, hope and comfort. I pray that assurance, hope and comfort gives great peace to the family and friends. His life is one to be celebrated for sure. Your going home came too soon for us but we will see you again dear friend.

Robert meant a lot to me, as I knew him & John from elementary school. Later in crazy days, then in best days when he re-baptized me after I had my newborn son Chandler Pruitt . Before dunking me in the water he shouted out to congregation he’d known me for a long time & may need to hold me under for a tad longer. I felt the Holy Spirit and was again blessed. Robert later buried my Mom then my Dad. Thankful to have known Robert, blessed by his friendship and his own Testimony and teachings of the Gospel. Rest in Peace Robert, we will see ya on the other side. Much Love in Christ , your friend Janet

Beautiful obituary for a beautiful man. He touched so many lives. He taught me so much about loving Jesus Christ. I have so many memories of craziness with him between children’s church and the youth group, fun concerts. I can only imagine the reunion in heaven when he got there. Mrs. Pat, the Welch’s, Mrs. King , Brad Bell and his mom. Loved big and will be missed big. Robert, my friend, I love you and I will see you on the other side.

My memories and love for Robert began as a kid when he lead me through the CBA’s in Caraway Street at Cottonflat through being my youth pastor. Times at Alto Frio youth camp, him yelling Way to go Tish Face at my high school graduation to him telling me he wasn’t sure he could officiating my wedding ceremony without crying. He showed me that God will always love me regardless. Robert will forever hold a very special place in my heart!! Love, prayers and hugs to all his family & friends!
