Robert Wanner, 62, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, in a local hospital. Graveside Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. The family will recieve friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.Robert was born on November 9, 1946, in Borger, Texas. He moved to Big Spring in 1957 from Kermit. He married Wylene Collins on June 6, 1969 in Midland. Robert was a certified Master Plumber. He owned the local Roto Rooter plumbing service for 20 years and was currently employed with First Service in Midland. Robert loved spending time with his sons and his grandchildren. Robert also loved RVing, especially to Fun Valley, Colorado.Survivors include wife, Wylene Wanner of Big Spring; two sons, Randy and wife Kris Wanner of Midland, and Anthony Wanner of Big Spring; one brother, David and wife Patsy Wanner of Big Spring; two sisters, Marie Niccum of Pampa, and Rudean and husband Lloyd Terrell of Seagraves; one grandson, Ryan Bradley Wanner; one granddaughter, Breanne; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Wylene/ & Boys: Words are so hard to come, as one of your closest friends, I know your whole world revolved around Robert and my heart aches with the knowledge of the pain your heart will feel with the lonliness and emptiness of each day, hour, minute, second will bring without him but that is what true love is all about. Wylene and family, My prayers are for you and your family. Robert will be missed. I immediately thought of all the fun things we did when we were young and of his Mom and Dad taking us square dancing. Robert was a wonderful memory in my youth and I know he was a blessing to the family. I know God is with you during this time.
