Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Larry Marshall, and Rick Cunningham, officiating. He was always busy just like the rest of the farmers there in Knott, but he was never to busy to stop and shoot baskets or a quick game of 21 or horse. I am so sorry for your loss. I'll always remember Bobby's big smile everytime he came into the plant and everytime I would run into him. I've told the story to lots of people about the first time he showed me his two cars and his pickup he had restored. I had no idea he had them and when I asked if he ever drove them, he said not much, and with that twinkle in his eye said, I just come in here and look at them every once in awhile and get as much pleasure in that as driving them. I've got an old Intl Scout I got tired of putting money in, it looks good, but after two motors still not running right, so I tell everyone what I learned from Bobby. I just look at it instead which gives me a good excuse to not spend more money on it. That old Scout is a frequent reminder of a great guy. I know everyone that knew him will miss him. I'm sorry I won't be back in town in time for his funeral.
