Carolyn, Laurie, Leslie, and all the grand and great grand children.Bob was one of those people that you are very grateful to have met in you life.He always made you feel he was happy to see and visit with you. His Christian beliefs showed through his living of life each day and set wonderful examples for others to follow. Bob was one of those people that you get to meet in life and say what a really good all around person he is. When we got to spend time with him at the family gatherings we always thought afterwards that Bob shared with you about the good things in life and let you know that he really did care about you and what was happening in your life. Bob was a mighty fine domino player and would share a funny little giggle with you when you are he grabbed 20 points from the last play . We will all miss being with Bob. We know he is smiling down from haven wishing us to have another good day. Robert & Glenda Mahoney

Oh, the wonderful memories I have of You and Bob when we were neighbors. All the times Bob helped me when it was just Terri and I. He was the most tender hearted man I ever had the wonderful privilege of knowing. Him rescuing Georgia and all the kind things he did. He loved you with all his heart. Much love to you - Joy and Ralph

Ms. Carolyn,It is hard to find words that are comforting at a time like this. But I have always found combort in our Lord's Word. John 14:1-2 DO NOT let your hearts be troubles (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust also on Me. In My Father's house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.Should you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to call me 432-934-5542 (JPS). My sincerest condolences. Reta

Carolyn, we, like so many others, have so many special memories of Bob. I don't think there is enough space here to tell all of them. As stated in his obituary, we both have pens and crosses made and given to us by him, agree about his sweet smile, always his concern for others. One of the most precious memories I have of Bob is that when I was playing the piano for PrimeTime, he always stopped me and told me how much he enjoyed my piano playing. He didn't realize how much that meant to me. He always asked me how John was doing, as well as asking about our daughter Kendra. He had a special remembrance of her, he always said she saved his life once when he passed out during a service at Temple. She happened to be sitting behind him and ministered to him as he was coming too. He also sent her one of his special pens. As I said, I could go on and on about Bob. I am so sorry that we won't be in Odessa to attend his funeral services but want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and we are praying for you. You are as special as he was, and we love and miss you both very much. John and Karen Murphy
