Robert E. Turrentine

Robert E. (Rob) Turrentine, III of Midland, TX died on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Rob was born in Monahans, TX on January 29, 1953, the son of Doris L. & Robert E. Turrentine.He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn Ann, daughter Rylie Erin and his parents. Rob was a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was accepted to the US Air Force Academy but withdrew because of health issues. He was later active in the international oil service business, working and/or living in Venezuela, Brazil & Oman;  was fluent in the Spanish language & proficient in Portugese. He was well respected by friends, neighbors, colleagues & customers. Rob loved to read, including the classics, was a proud member of MENSA & constantly tested himself. He enjoyed music, especially classics and taught himself to play the guitar and piano. He was an excellent tennis player and rode with bicycle groups in several locations in order to stay physically fit.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America; National Processing Center; P.
