Rita Ann Worley

Rita Ann Worley, 77, of Midland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 N. Big Spring Street.

Rita was born on November 4, 1946, in Greeley, Colorado, to Betty Love and Donald Bulleigh. Born a twin to Roger, she had an older sister, Sharon and a younger sister Janice. Before she married Larry Worley in 1964, she attended Midland High School and worked at her Uncle Gene Love’s Burger Train restaurant. She had two children, Melissa Worley McIntosh and Mark Worley.

She enjoyed macramé, baking and decorating her home. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, going to sporting events and Alpha Cheer and Dance competitions. Her favorite football team was the Denver Broncos, and she especially liked John Elway. For twenty years she worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T.

Rita is survived by her two children, Melissa and Mark; four grandchildren, Noah, Aly, Ari and Will; her son-in-law, Chris; daughter-in-law, Torey; and her sisters, Sharon and Janice.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Donald Bulleigh and her twin brother, Roger.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards Midland Memorial Hospital staff whose care and comfort are most appreciated.
