Ricky Delter Majors

Ricky Delter Majors, 49, of Auburn, Washington, died on Friday, April 19, 2002, at his residence after a long illness. Private family interment services will be at Coahoma Cemetery with Rev. Mark Winn, officiating.      He was born on February 4, 1953, in Lubbock, Texas to O. D. and Delores Majors of Coahoma.Ricky's family moved to Plainview, Texas, when he was a small child, and he attended school there. He was with the Slaton Police Department from 1973 to 1974.      He had a love for music and could play many instruments. As a young man, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad and brother. Ricky moved to Washington state in 1986.     He was a Baptist.      Survivors include his daughter, Regina Majors of Midland; his parents, O.D. and Delores Majors of Coahoma; two brothers, Thomas Majors of Springfield, Missouri, and Christopher Majors of Ennis; one sister, Tresa Majors of Big Spring; his grandmother, Myrtle Ray; two nieces, Kayla Karr and Ashley Majors; and three nephews, Riley Majors, Timothy Karr, and Clayton Karr.     He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alfred Ray and Thomas Majors and his grandmother, Bertie Richardson.     Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. www.npwelch.com,
