Richard James Smoker, Jr., 52, of Midland, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 in Midland. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 5:00PM at Church Jesus Way, 3600 Andrews Hwy, Midland, TX, 79703.Richard was born on April 23, 1963 in Joliet, IL. He served our Country in the United States Army. Richard loved life to the fullest. He enjoyed cooking, playing video games, and being with his family and friends. Richard was an employee at Spring Creek Apartments for eighteen years and was the manager upon his passing. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bradford; parents, Beverly and Guillermo Vazquez; brother, David Vazquez and wife Lynn; sister, Laura Rios; daughter, Jasmine Marshall; aunt, Barbara Becker; beloved cousins, Pamela Knaack, Christine Schluntz, Charles Schluntz, and Kerri Miller; numerous nieces and nephews.
