Ricardo "Ricky" Medina, 30, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, in a Midland hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Mario Hernandez, officiating.He was born on May 8, 1979, in Littlefield, Texas and married Nicole Pardo on July 2, 2007 in Big Spring, Texas.He graduated from Ackerly High School and attended Howard College and graduated with a certificate in computer science. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista.Survivors include his wife, Nicole "Nikki" Medina of Big Spring; one daughter, Alexia Trevino of Big Spring; his parents, Francisco and Ramona Medina of Big Spring; seven brothers, Gregorio Medina, Jesse Medina and Marcelino Medina all of Big Spring, Joe Medina of Madera, California, Frank Medina of Flint, Michigan, Alex Camacho of Valle Hermosa, Mexico and Adrian Faz of Eagle Pass; four sisters, Ana Garcia, Diana Medina, Blanca Faz and Selene Hernandez all of Big Spring; and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and a niece, Miracle Medina.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
