What can I say about Mrs. Birkhead, she was such a wonderful teacher. I worked with her at Blackshear Magnet and she was my daughter 3rd Grade Teacher. She had such a love of teaching and also for her students. My Condolences to her family!

I'll never forget the countless hours spent with friends in Reta's home. Some of the happiest memories of my growing up occurred there and she always made all of Weston's friends feel like we were an extension of her family. She was a truly special woman that will be missed greatly.

Celebrate the life of my precious sister. Reta loved so generously and positively impacted the lives of family, friends, and countless others. She loved her students and gave 100% to teaching and encouraging them. All who knew her will remember her zeal for life.. Recent times have been so painful for her. Thankful she is now at peace and lighting up things in heaven! Love forever, her "lil" sis

I know how much Reta is going to be missed but she is no longer in pain. God has gained a gem. Reta love to hand write letters & I loved getting them & cards she could find the perfect one. She could have opened a hallmark card store @ her home. Love you Reta! Prayers to the family!
