Reba Kennedy, 67, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, July 25, 2002, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, July 29, 2002, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Claude Craven, a retired Baptist minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on April 24, 1935 in Big Spring, Texas and married Bob P. Kennedy on August 31, 1952 in Big Spring, Texas. Mrs. Kennedy had been a resident of Big Spring since 1952. She was a loving mother and wife. She was a member of Baptist Temple Church. Survivors include her husband, Bob P. Kennedy of Big Spring; one daughter, Linda Kay Carter of Big Spring; one son, George Michael Kennedy of Big Spring; three sisters, Media Cunningham of Big Spring, Jolene Trolinder of Coleman and Betty Juan Valiquitte of Midland; one brother, James Hollis Meek of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to the donors favorite charity. The family will receive friends from 4 PM to 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
