It is with great sadness to announce that Raymond Lynn Hodnett passed away on Monday, December 11th, 2023 at the young age of 53.
Raymond was born on June 24th, 1970 in Big Spring, TX. He was an amazing father, brother and friend. When Raymond’s mother Roxie passed away in 2018 that left a huge hole in his heart. While he will be tremendously missed we are comforted knowing he’s in the arms of God and his mother.
Raymond’s absence leaves a tremendous loss in the lives of family members and many dear friends. Blessed are those who got to know such a kind man.
Raymond is preceded in death by his mother Roxie, father Larry and brother Michael.
Raymond is survived by his sister Idona, brothers Dale and wife Sherril, Larry and wife Starla, 5 children Alyssa, Ashley, Haylea and son-in-law David, Kandice, Dakota and daughter-in-Law Tabitha. Grandchildren Mason, Rylan, Maddox, Peyton, Liam, Dash, Ethan and Moira.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 17th from 3-5pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch. Funeral. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Monday, December 18th in Colorado City, TX at Colorado City Cemetery.
