Raymond G. “Chuck” Luckett of Midland, Texas passed away, Thursday, May 11, 2023. A memorial service will be held at Kelview Heights Baptist Church 10:00 am, Friday, May 19, 2023.

Chuck was born August 2, 1945 in San Jose, CA to Bud & Earlene Luckett. He enjoyed a 50 year career in the oilfields of West Texas.

He has been an active member of Kelview Heights Baptist Church since 1972 and enjoyed teaching preschool children for 46 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry, of 54 years; daughter Bonnie Gilmore & husband Mike; granddaughters, Lexi Cyphers & husband Jordan, Lauren Barrett & husband Ian & Liberty Gilmore; one great grandson to come; one sister, June Stracener & husband Paul; numerous nephews, nieces & cousins.

Tom loves to plant trees and watch them grow, so we wanted to plant al tree in Chuck's honor. He was good at making hearts grow for Jesus. Love you!

Sherry - you and Chuck are our family. Words cannot express the love we have for you both. We praise the Lord for the 50 years we have had to share life together. We are going to miss everything about Chuck - his humor, his stories, his laughter and his wisdom. We do not have a single bad memory about Chuck - nothing but greatness. We are blessed to know we will see him again soon. Love you so, so much and all your kids and family.
