*Media Obituary*Raymond Kirkpatrick, 59, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at the Hospice Midland Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Primitive Baptist Church, 411 W. Shandon in Midland with ,Elder Howard Jernigan officiating and Elder Allen Daniels and Elder Edward Kirkpatrick assisting. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton. He will lie in state at the church Friday, February 4, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. until service time.He was born on August 14, 1945 to J. S. and Norma (Netzel) Kirkpatrick in Monahans.Raymond married Linda Mitchell August 18, 1967 in Midland. He was the minister of the Primitive Baptist Church in Colorado City for the last nine years and for the last several months has pastored the Primitive Baptist Church in Midland. His life revolved around his church, the Lord and his family, most especially his six granddaughters.Raymond also worked as a driver for Pinner Transportation in Midland for the last three years.Raymond is survived by his wife Linda, their son and daughter-in-law, Jared and Sonia Kirkpatrick of Keller, TX and their daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Wyatt Reed of Midland, six granddaughters, Hayley, Morgan, and Kelsey Reed, and Megan, Katherine, and Abigail Kirkpatrick, four brothers, Edward Kirkpatrick, of Waxahachie; Roy Kirkpatrick, of Midland; Paul Kirkpatrick, of Kerrville; and Donnie Kirkpatrick of Midland; three sisters, Louise Neatherlin of Midland; Nell Whitmore, of Midland; and Jo Ann Merworth of Rogers, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.,
