Raquel Castro Polson, 51 of Stanton, TX, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 22, 2024.  A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Midland. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

Raquel was born on August 12, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas to Helen Floyd and John Castro. Raquel graduated from Stanton High School in 1990. She married Dennis Polson on February 13, 1994.  She loved helping others, fishing, crafting, photography, dancing, and times spent with family and friends.

Raquel is survived by her husband Dennis Polson, her sons Taylor and Dillon Polson, her mother Helen Floyd (husband Lovelle Floyd), her father John Castro, brothers Luis Castro, Nathan Castro (wife Natalie Castro), Carlos Herrera, and all of her beloved nieces and nephews.

Raquel is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Castro, her maternal and paternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grand Companions pet rescue/adoption of Midland and Fort Davis or Martin County Animal Advocates.
