Randal Wayne “Scooter” Starritt, 69 of Midland passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Midland TX. He was born December 22, 1948 in Midland, TX to L.B “Lewis” and Gertrude “Dean” Starritt. Scooter attended Midland Lee High School, graduating in 1967. He served in the United States Army for 2 years in Germany from 1969 to 1970. He worked for Charles Templeton and retired in 2012.He was known to be a very hard working man and he was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved to go bowling and woodworking. Scooter was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and WWE Wrestling. He married Belinda Bassett on July 6, 2012 in Midland, TX.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Marion Lynn Starritt and Charles Alvin “Pete” Starritt. He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Belinda Starritt of Midland TX; his daughter, Tia Starritt Heady and her husband Charles, of Midland, TX; his son, Jeffrey Starritt and wife Monica, of Midland, TX; his stepdaughter, Cindy Carlton and husband Kris, of Midland, TX; stepdaughter, Erynn Nelson of Midland, TX; his brother, Billy Starritt and wife Anita of Azle, TX; his sister, Debi Crouchman and husband Ken of Van Alstyne, TX; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.Thank you for all the love, support and prayers. The family will not be having services per Scooter’s wishes. The family will be doing something in his honor at a later date.,
