Ralph Gomez

Rafal (Ralph) Gomez, 70, of Ackerly Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025. Visitation hours will be from 9am to 9pm Tuesday October 7th at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Services will be 10am, Wednesday, October 8th at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Ackerly Cemetery.

Ralph Gomez was born on January 13,1955 in Lamesa, Texas to Federico Gomez and Lucia Gomez. He lived in Ackerly all his life.  He met Flora Yharte in August 1975 and married her on January 20, 1976. They had two sons, Abel Gomez and Emmanuel Gomez.  Ralph was a man of faith and loved his family always making them his priority. He worked as a farmer for most of his life. He enjoyed working the fields and was a very friendly, caring and hardworking man. He enjoyed watching western movies, Sunday football, going to the movies, eating popcorn, and loved going fishing.

Ralph is survived by his wife Flora Gomez, sons Abel Gomez and Emmanuel Gomez and daughter-in-law Jovana Gomez. Grandkids Isaías Gomez, Karyme Gomez, Sophia Gomez & Ezra Gomez and one brother Federico Gomez Jr.

Ralph is preceded in death by parents Federico and Lucia Gomez, his siblings Clemente Gomez, Julian Gomez, Jesus Gomez, Juan Gomez, Josefina Sanchez, Maria Gomez and Rufina Gomez.
