“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith…”
2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NIV)
Priscilla Ceballos was born November 2, 1970 and reached the end of her life July 15, 2025 surrounded by her family in her home. Daughter of Ruben and Catalina Ceballos, Priscilla maintained a legacy of unwavering dedication to Christ. Her life being not only a testament to the actuation found in devotion, but the dissemination of the joy and restoration found in God. Although born in Waco Texas, her impact is largely attributed to her time in Midland and Odessa where she graduated from Odessa High School. She pursued several extracurriculars such as cheerleader in her early education. Although raised heavily in a Catholic Church her heart found Jesus at Truelite Christian Fellowship in her later years of life. Her life held its share of struggles, but Priscilla would make the courageous decision to pursue a new path-one rooted in faith, healing, and purpose. She walked in sobriety with strength and grace, embracing a life transformed by God. In that process she would meet some of her lifelong friends, family, and build a large-scale support system to keep her both accountable to herself and to God. But to say she overcame that struggle would be an understatement, as Priscilla’s spirit was the center of her testimony. Her tenacity in her faith began to overflow into her life as she became heavily involved with her home church, where she led both the Transportation Team and Family Promise Outreach, avidly volunteered and worked for the same community programs in which she found new beginnings, and even accomplished her goal of owning her own home where she was able to raise her children. Moreover, she worked tirelessly to maintain her success in Christ through seeking leadership roles in her congregation and pursuing her associates in Drug and Alcohol Addiction Counseling, where upon completion, would have had her creating the same opportunities for people just like herself. Priscilla’s life is not only a demonstration of the road less traveled, but a determination in ensuring the lives of those she touched may join in her redemption. As God revealed his wisdom to her, she too propagated his beliefs everywhere she went, covering family, friends, and even strangers with steadfast prayer and a heart full of understanding. Remembered through her ambition in support and unconditional compassion, she is survived by her life partner Alejandro Gutierrez (65), her beautiful sister Helena Medrano (52), eight wonderful children, Stephen Coy (35), Kassandra Ceballos (34), Krista Ceballos (26), Thomas Ceballos (24), Alejandro Ceballos, (22), Kayla Ceballos (20), Katalina Ceballos (19), Ruben Ceballos (14), as well as two loving nephews, William Snipes (22), Emmanuel Lide (19), one niece Miranda Medrano (23) and 4 beautiful grandchildren, Antonio Coy (16) Adam Ramirez (11), Sophie Coy (8), and Musa Woobay (5).
