Plyna Jeanne McBride Krattiger NesbittJune 6, 1943-November 8, 2018Plyna was born June 6, 1943 to Billie Ruth McBride & CP McBride in Clovis, NM. While reared in Clovis with her mom and step-dad, John Krattiger., she delighted in spending time with her dad and step-mom, Carol McBride. Plyna and her husband of 56 years, Tim Nesbitt, raised their two daughters in Midland, Pecos, and Monahans, Tx. Plyna and Tim enjoyed their retirement years by returning to Midland to be near their eight grandkids, who loved her well and affectionately called her Penny.She went Home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 8, 2018 in Midland, Tx. at the age of 75.Above all, Plyna loved and trusted Jesus. Her days were devoted to spendingtime with God, laughing with her husband, encouraging those around her, and attending Stonegate Fellowship.She was a humble homemaker, a gifted artist, an incredible cook, a faithful friend and beloved wife, aunt, sister, mother, and grandmother. Along with the most loving and devoted caregiver, Tim, God gave her courage, grace and strength as she battled a 12 year illness. A special thank you to her sister Kathy, who selflessly served Plyna over the last two months.Plyna is survived by the love of her life, husband Tim; daughter Mindy Hunt of Spring, Tx; daughter, Jill Sparks and her husband, Kevin, of Midland, TX;granddaughters: Megan Hollis and husband Clayton of College Station, Tx; Madison, Mackelle and Myles Hunt of Spring, Tx; and Sumner Sparks of Fayetteville, AR and her fiancée, Hayden Short of Dallas, Tx.; grandsons: Grey Sparks and wife Alex of Midland, Tx; Garrett Sparks of Fayetteville AR; Grant Sparks of Midland Tx. sisters: Kathy Dalton and husband Mike of Willis, Tx and Debbie Nadal of Anahuac, Tx.; brothers: George Krattiger of Clovis, NM. and Clint McBride of Dayton, Tx.; one adored great grandchild; treasured and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, and oh, so many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy O'Brien and brother, Johnny Krattiger.Plyna enjoyed painting with her Palette Club friends, volunteering for the CSS Meals on Wheels garage sale, and leading a core group for Community Bible Study. She hosted her family and friends at every opportunity. She was so much fun to be with; she will be greatly missed and always cherished. We are thankful to God for the gift of Plyna Nesbitt. A Celebration of Plyna's life will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 10:00AM at First Baptist Church Chapel.
