Phyllis Capitola Brown, 75, of Stanton, Texas formerly of Midland, Texas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 18, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel at 3800 N. Big Spring St. in Midland, Texas on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm.She was born on June 24, 1940 in Salmon City, Texas to Gordon M. Miller and Merle V. Bradley. Phyllis Capitola was a Christian woman who loved God with all her heart. Phyllis Capitola worked many years as a Certified Nurse’s Aide who touched many lives with her heart and healing hands. She never lost her willingness to help others even when she was not at her healthiest. She will be greatly missed by many.Phyllis Capitola was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Miller and Merle Bradley; her sister, June Greenlee of Lawton, OK; and two brothers, Minor Dale of CA and Clifford W. Bradley Jr. of Midland, TX. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Cleon Brown of Midland, TX.She is survived by three children, MK Engelstad and husband, Dana Engelstad of Midland, TX; Brenda Wallace of Midland, TX; and Cleon Brown and wife, Denise Brown of Stilwell, OK; a brother, Buddy Bradley and wife, Martha Bradley of Midland, TX; three grandchildren, Shenna Wallace, Dallas Brown and Brady Brown; and a great-grandchild, KaiLeigh Wallace.The family requests that memorials be made to Teen Challenge of the Permian Basin at P.O.
