Phillip E. Earhart, 77, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Midland. Memorial services will be on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 3:00PM at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Midland with Pastor Gilbert Bela officiating.Phillip was born on February 3, 1937 in Lefors, Texas to Charles and Lucille Earhart. Phillip served our Country in the US Marine Corps in 1956-1958. He graduated with his B.S. from West Texas State University. Phillip was a 32nd Degree Mason Scottish Rite. Phillip retired as a Teacher from MISD in 1995. (Add his personality and hobbies) Phillip was married to Sue Gray from 1959-1981 and they had two daughters together, Martha and Beth. On June 19, 1982, Phillip married Virginia Armstrong Smith and they merged their families together to enjoy and share the past 32 years.He is survived by his wife, Virginia Earhart of Midland; two daughters, Martha L. Earhart of Midland; and Beth A. Earhart of Pampa; one granddaughter, Casey McClinton and husband, Beau; great grandchildren Michaela and Cameron McClinton TX; sister Amy Houser of Midland; nephews Tim and Lance Stewart and their families; step-children, Melissa Young and Harold Barth; Sara Riley and husband David; and Brad Smith and wife, Janet; step-grandchildren, Dustin Harris and wife, Samantha; Brandon Smith and wife Erin; Devin Riley; Colton Riley and Blake Smith and step-great grandchild, Avrey Harris.In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St. Marks UMC or a charity of one’s choice.,
