Peggy Rohner, 83 of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, January 17th. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
Peggy was born on November 28th in Chicago, Illinois to John and Pearl Rohner. In her early years Peggy played professional tennis. Before moving to Midland, she worked at NBC, where she had the pleasure of meeting Elvis and John Wayne. Peggy had several degrees working as a notary, accountant, and CFO. While in the Permian Basin she worked for Perry Gas, Drillco, and Sharyland Utilities. She never met a stranger and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her loved her. Peggy loved animals, had a quick wit and a kind heart.
Peggy is survived by Helen Sandefer (Duane) and Lorie Bray (Mike), their family and several fur babies. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents John and Pearl, her brothers William, Bob and Tommy and her sisters Barbara and Patricia.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards Bob and Mitzi Fortin who cared for and supported Peggy as chosen family and Randy Allen who was a good friend and always helped her with any task that arose.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any animal rescue organizations.
