Pearl Katen, 68, of Odessa, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2006.Pearl was born on July 8, 1938, in Shadren, Nebraska.Survivors include three daughters, Anna Provancha of Hampton Cove, Alabama, Rose McDonald of Odessa and Mary Morales of Midland; four sons, Clyde Katen of Henderson, Nebraska, Daniel Katen of Houston, William Katen of Dickson, Missouri and Steve Katen of Hazel Green, Alabama; a brother, Fred Ballard of Texarkana; and a sister, Anna Morgan of Pringle, South Dakota.
