Pauline Stewart Ford, 91, of Coahoma, died on Thursday, March 29, 2007, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Elwin Collom, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church and Rev. Wes Massey, pastor of First Baptist Church of Coahoma, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Berry, pastor of Kelview Heights Baptist Church of Midland, officiating.She was born on July 14, 1915, in Calhoun County, Alabama and married Bill Ford, Sr. on September 7, 1935 in Colorado City, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1978.Pauline was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed arts and crafts and displayed them in many shows. She also enjoyed charcoal sketching and was an excellent seamtress, having made many quilts. She was involved with the Senior Citizens groups in both Sand Springs and Coahoma.Pauline was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Coahoma and had taught Sunday School for many years. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Sammie Buchanan of Big Spring; one son and daughter-in-law, Billie, Jr. and Vickie Ford of Midland; four grandchildren, Sammie Don Buchanan, Jr. and wife, Paris of Cedar Creek, Vickie Engel and husband, Todd of San Angelo, Tom Ford and wife, Sandi of Abbottsford, British Columbia, and Kim Thomason and husband, Paul of Midland; ten great grandchildren, Rae Buchanan, Amy Engel, Aly Engel, Will Thomason, Brett Thomason, Meagan Thomason, Luke Thomason, Paxton Ford, Karissa Ford and Alexis Ford; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.She was also preceded in death by her parents; two infant daughters, JoAnn and Judy Beth Ford; one sister, Oma Lewis; and three brothers, John V. Stewart, Gordon Perry Stewart, Jr. and Eugene Stewart. The family suggests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Coahoma, P.O.
