Pauline Schuelke, 94, of Ackerly, Texas, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, in a Lubbock hospice facility. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 7, 2013 at the First Bapitst Church of Ackerly with Dr. Stan Blevins, Jeff Scott and Corbin Young, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the funeral home.She was born October 27, 1918, in Hoxie, Texas and married Fred Schuelke April 27, 1939 in Georgetown, Texas. He preceded her in death February 17, 2002.The Schueke's moved to Dawson County in 1945 and into Ackerly in 1977. She volunteered at the Big Spring State Hospital and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ackerly. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church Quilting Club, which made lap robes for the Veterans home, quilts for Circle 6 Baptist Camp and made bags for supplies for missions to Mexico.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Nellie Schuelke of Knott and Kenneth and Patty Schuelke of Stanton; daughter-in-law, Mary Thornton Schuelke; nine grandchildren, David Schuelke and wife, Lori, Debra Gamboa and husband, Phil, Steven Schuelke, Heather Schafer and husband, Todd, Luci Gabehart and husband, Greg, Tarah Scott and husband, Jeff, Clint Schuelke and wife, Brooke, Kandace Young and husband, Corbin and Julia Schuelke; 13 great-grandchildren, Andrew Frye, Corey Frye, Justin Schuelke, Amanda Schafer, Lane Schafer, Kristen Schafer, Jonathon Gabehart, Thomas Gabehart, Mary Kate Gabehart, Stratton Scott, Truett Scott, Landon Schuelke and Kensler Cy Young.She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jimmie Schuelke; a daughter-in-law, Karen Schuelke; a great-granddaughter, Blair Nicole Schuelke; two brothers; and one sister.The family suggests memorials be made to Circle Six Baptist Camp, P.
