Patsy Lue Wilkerson, 84, of Big Spring, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026 in Midland. Viewing will be from 1pm until 9pm, Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Patsy was born September 6, 1941 in Badgett, Texas to parents Joseph Sherman and Pearlie Lue (Brooks) Sherman. She had been a resident of Big Spring for many years. Patsy loved scratch off lottery tickets, watching westerns especially those with John Wayne and playing candy crush on her tablet.
Patsy is survived by her children James Wilkerson (Beverly), Ryan Wilkerson, Brenda Chavez (Joaquin), Lesa Clark and Sandra Carey; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilmit Edward “Ed” Wilkerson, her parents Joseph and Pearlie (Brooks) Sherman, brothers Joe Sherman, Jr, Omar Sherman and sister Alma “Sis” Sherman.
