Patricia (Pat) McMahan passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, TX.Pat was born April 13, 1940 in Mills County, TX to Clifford and Anna Beth Hammond. She married Jack W. McMahan on June 19, 1955 in Goldthwaite, TX. They moved to West Texas in 1956 and have been residents of Midland, TX for 28 years. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church of Midland, TX. She was a loving housewife and mother. She loved doing things for other people.She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Cliff and Anna Beth Hammond, and two brothers, Mike Hammond and George Hammond.Survivors include her husband, Jack McMahan of Midland, TX; one son, Jason McMahan of Orla, TX; two grandsons, Mitchell and Dylan McMahan of Midland, TX; and sisters, Polly Womack of Goldthwaite, TX and Toni Andres of Houston, TX. Other survivors include Artie Hammond of Goldthwaite, TX, Kaye Hammond of Comanche, TX, Stan McMahan of Jal, NM, Glen Dower and JoNell McMahan of Lometa, TX, Howard and Joyce Boyd of Snyder, TX, and Mary Lou Goodson of Fort Worth, TX, and many nieces and nephews.A private memorial for Pat will be held at a later date.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
