Patricia Lynn Heith Phillips was born on March 23, 1948 to the late R.L. Heith and Patricia Dolores Heith in Big Spring, Texas. She passed away at home on Saturday, March 4th surrounded by her family.
Lynn graduated from Big Spring High School in 1966 and attended college at Texas Tech University. She received a BBA from West Texas State University in Business Education in 1973 and a vocational certificate from West Texas A &M.
Lynn taught at Southland High School from 1974-1984. She then taught at Midland Lee High School from 1984-2002 where the Lee High School Parent Teacher Association honored her as LHS’s first Super-Teacher for the 1989-1990 school year and served as student council sponsor. She was honored as District Teacher of the Year by the Texas Business Education Association. She finished up her career working for HPF Consultants in the accounting department from 2002-2013 when she retired.
Lynn was blessed with a large and loving family. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Perry Phillips, on November 14th, 1998. They were married 25 wonderful years.
In her retirement years she enjoyed spending time with her family and relaxing at her mountain home in Ruidoso where she and Perry have so many good friends.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Dolores Heith, Husband, Perry Phillips, Son Robby Phillips, Daughter Jodi Tidwell and husband Brandon Tidwell of Lubbock, TX. She adored and cherished every moment with grandchildren Logan Tidwell and Madelyn Tidwell of Lubbock, TX. Sister Ann McCann and husband Tommy of Lakeway, TX brother Bobby Heith and wife Jill of Buda, TX. She was an outstanding aunt and dearly loved by nieces Tara Moore of Flower Mound, TX Ashley Lepine and husband Mike of Lakeway, TX Raygan Watson and husband Mike of San Antonio, TX Lindsey Childress and husband Daylan of Buda, TX nephew Gage Heith of Buda, TX great-nieces Libby Moore, Finley Childress, Lily and River Heith, Winnie Watson and great-nephews Dash and Cross Lepine, Jake Moore, Tripp and Major Childress, Charlie Watson and Lincoln Heith.
