Patricia LaBrew, 48, of Big Spring, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born June 16, 1954 in Big Spring. Her parents, grandmother and grandfather preceded her in death. In addition to their deaths, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Harper of Sulphur Springs, who passed away, Monday, March 3, 2003 and will be funeralized there on Saturday, March 8, 2003. At an early age, Patricia united with the Mount Bethel Baptist Church. After graduating from Big Spring High School in 1972, Patricia moved to Atlanta, Georgia for approximately three years before returning home. She married James LaBrew on December 23, 1990. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Pamela Palmer of Big Spring and Tanitra Palmer of Fort Worth; two granddaughters, Moshae Harrington and Iesha Simpson; one grandson, Quindon Smith; and an aunt and uncle, Essie and Glenn Person. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, March 10, 2003, at the Mount Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. E. C. Wilson of Terrell and Rev. M. B. Willard, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Patricia appreciated life with an uncompromising determination to live each day fully, enjoy life completely and with love without reservation. She loved her family, as well as friends. She would always visit the sick in the hospital. She will truely be missed.
