And God said, “It’s time to come home my precious child.” Patricia JoAnn (Fisher) Elam began her walk in paradise with our Gracious Lord on February 28, 2015 at age 33 in San Antonio, Texas. God graced us with Tricia in Denver Colorado on September 28, 1981. From an early age Tricia brought a bright smile everywhere she went. Her heart was as big as Texas & her blue eyes glowed with the love her heart contained. In her youth she discovered how much she enjoyed being around water. As a baby her mother had to keep a watchful eye out because Tricia would try to crawl to the swimming pool any chance she got. From early youth she was a graceful mermaid in the water often winning against her brothers playing “Shark & Minnow.” Her love of water soon turned to an avid enjoyment of fishing, camping, hiking; basically anything outdoors. Her enjoyment of the outdoors even included becoming a crack shot with both pistol & rifle by her early teens.Even though the constant “Tomboy” was in her spirit, she was also a “Little Princess.” She enjoyed shopping for clothes, shoes, & “girly things.” She would often blush when someone told her how beautiful she was. As strong as her passion was for the outdoors, it was just as strong for other things she enjoyed. She became a wonderful artist from everything from handicrafts to china painting. She enjoyed cooking & loved putting a dinner together for friends & family. She found a renewed way of expressing the things she enjoyed when the truest loves of her life arrived, her 2 daughters. Most of all, Tricia was a true friend. Through her eyes she saw friends as family. She was a soft compassionate voice when someone was hurting. A running buddy when it was time to play. A wrathful angel if you hurt someone she loved. Her love for her friends & family was only surpassed by her love for her daughters.Tricia was met in Paradise by our Lord Jesus, our Loving God, her grandfathers, Don Fisher & Jim Lyles, her grandmothers, Josephine McClure & Betty Lyles. She is survived by 2 daughters, Riley Elam & Chloe Elam; mother, Becky Fisher; father, Randy McClure; step-father, Tim Lyles; grandmother, Pat Fisher; grandfather, Calvin McClure; brothers, Edward McClure, William McClure, Thomas McClure, Timothy McClure, & Christopher Lyles; & many uncles, aunts, cousins & friends. A memorial service celebrating Tricia’s life will be held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home on March 11, 2015 at 4 p.m. officiated by her uncle, Rev. Donald Fisher. ,
