Patricia Delores “P.D.“ Heith

Patricia Dolores (P.D.) Heith passed away on February 7, 2026, in Lakeway, Texas surrounded by family members.

P.D. was born on November 6, 1925, in Taylor, Texas, to William M. and Pearl D. Gage. She was the youngest of six children. Her childhood was shaped by the experiences and values instilled by her family and her formative years growing up with her siblings.

P.D. graduated from Big Spring High School in 1944 and attended Howard County Junior College in Big Spring, Texas. Throughout her life, she was involved in various career roles and pursued her passions. She contributed to her community volunteer work and community involvement.

On June 9, 1947, P.D. married Raymond L. (R.L.) Heith, and they shared 52 years together. She was a devoted mother to Lynn Heith Philips, Ann Heith McCann, and Robert E. (Bobby) Heith. P.D. enjoyed hobbies such as golf and took pride in her role as a homemaker and co-owner of La Boutique gift shop.

P.D. will be remembered for her true servant’s heart. Her long-term care for her mother-in-law and sister-in-law demonstrated her dedication to family. She lived by values rooted in her faith and was active in the First Baptist Church, and a member of the Pastor’s Sunday School class. Her wit and the joy she brought to other’s lives are lasting memories for all who knew her.

P.D. is survived by daughter Ann McCann and her husband Tommy, son Bobby Heith and his wife Jill, and son-in-law Perry Phillips. Her grandchildren include Tara McCann, Ashley Lepine and husband Mike, Rayan Watson and husband Mike, Gage Heith, Lindsey Childress and husband Daylan, Jodi Tidwell and Husband Brandon and Robby Phillips. She was blessed with great-grandchildren Libby Moore, Jake Moore, Dash Lepine, Cross Lepine, Winnie Watson, Charlie Watson, Finley Childress, Major Childress, Tripp Childress, Lincoln Heith, Lily Holland-Heith, River Holland-Heith, Madeline Tidwell, and Logan Tidwell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Heith; daughter, Lynn Philips; her parents, William M. and Peari D. Gage; siblings Cleo Hahn, Hazel Davis, Bill Gage, Alta May Bettle, and Tommy Gage.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas with burial to follow.
