Patricia Ball

Patricia “Patti” Ball, 86 of Midland, Texas passed away on May 18^th, 2023. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Patti was born on May 25^th, 1936 in Mangum, Oklahoma to George and Opal Pigg. She grew up in Mangum and graduated high school in 1954. She attended Oklahoma College for Women (OCW) in Chickasha, Oklahoma and graduated in 1958 with a degree in Music Education. She then attended Oklahoma University, graduating with a Master’s in Music Education. She began her teaching career as an elementary music school teacher in Borger, Texas. She met and married Jerry Ball in July of 1964. They spent 58+ years together, until her passing.

Patti is survived by her husband, Jerry, and two sons, Greg and Zane. Greg and his family reside in Syracuse, Utah. Zane and his family reside in Portland, Oregon. There are a total of eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, George and Opal Pigg, and her sister Suzanne Vaughn.
