Patricia Conway Parks, passed away peacefully at the age of 87, on Wednesday September 23, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, where she had recently moved to be near her son. She was born August 26, 1939, in Dallas, Texas to Lacy Cecil Conway and Elsie Izola Conway.
Patricia grew up in Kaufman, Texas and after her high school graduation she enrolled and graduated from North Texas State University. It was at North Texas where she met and married her husband of 65 years, James Harold Parks Jr. on August 25, 1960.
Patricia and James moved to Big Spring in 1963 where she continued her long teaching career. She always said that High school English was her favorite subject to teach.
Until very recently Pat and James resided in Big Spring where they raised their two children James and Stacey Parks.
Pat is survived by her son James, daughter-in-law Tracy and grandchildren, Lexi and Lawson Parks.
She is preceded in death by her husband James Parks, daughter Stacey Conway Parks, and her parents Lacy and Elsie Conway.
