Patricia “Pat” Rawson Connally

Patricia R. Connally, 71, passed away on August 29, 2023. She was born to George and Maxine Rawson in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1951.

In 1970, Pat married her best friend, Kenneth Dale Connally in Bossier City, LA. They were blessed to share almost 53 years of marriage together, raising their two sons, Michael Connally (Jenny) of Midland, TX, and Christopher Connally (Jada) also of Midland, TX. Pat was a loving “Nana” to her three grandchildren, Cayden, Cassidy, and Tatum. She loved each one dearly and spent lots of time creating cherished memories with them.

Throughout her years, Pat shared continuous loving acts of kindness with others in her family, friends, community, and church families at GCR and Westside Church of Christ. God spent extra time on Pat when He was passing out talents. Pat was a good listener and dear friend to so many. Pat was kind, smart, crafty, creative, a wonderful cook and baker and an amazing artist. She designed and quilted many beautiful quilts with the most intricate details. Pat was awarded numerous ribbons in Quilt Shows. She was an active member of and close friend to the ladies of the Midland Quilters Guild.

Pat delighted in spending time with her family and her family loved the time spent with her and Dale. Together, she and Dale created a loving legacy who will forever treasure her memory and strive to live like the example she was to us all. Pat is survived by her husband, Dale, their 2 sons, Mike and Chris, daughters-in-love, Jenny and Jada and their 3 grandchildren, Cayden, Cassidy and Tatum; her sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Neil Curry and nephews, Jim and Daniel Curry; many Rawson family cousins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed and Anna Marie Connally, Joe and Janice Connally, Don and Kim Connally, as well as many other Connally nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Maxine and George Rawson and her brother, Kelly.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards all the friends and family that have sent countless prayers, love, compassion, and correspondence.

A Memorial/Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 10:00am in the Chapel at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
