Pamela "Pam" Henshaw Steward, 53, of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 in Midland. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Midland. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens in Midland.Pam was born on December 25, 1953 to Bill and Wanda Hayes in Pecos, Texas. She has been in Midland since 1965. She worked as a nurse at Midland Memorial Hospital. She volunteered and was the only LVN allowed to go to New Orleans to assist after Hurricane Katrina. Pam's family, especially her grandchildren, were her greatest joy. She loved to travel and enjoyed life to the fullest.Survivors include her mother, Wanda Hayes of Midland; a sister, Paula Lytle of Midland; a brother, Bud Hayes of Midland; a son, Michael Steward of Fort Worth; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Robyn Steward of Dallas; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Karla Carr of Fort Worth; five grandchildren, Riley, Layna and Reese Steward and Chance and Cydney Carr; numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Home Hospice, 901 W Missouri Avenue, Midland, TX 79701 and Safe Place of The Permian Basin, c/o Carol Wayland, PO Box 11331, Midland, TX 79702.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. I met Pam through Nancy Henshaw Getz several years ago. What a warm and friendly person she was. My thoughts and prayers are with Paula and family at this time. God Bless

Paula and family, I am so very sorry for your loss of Pam - it is the world's loss too. I haven't seen you or Pam in many years but do remember the fun times and your pretty smiles. I worked with Pam years ago. She was always so much fun to work with. Pam blessed my life with many fun memories. My prayers are with each of you. I pray that God will bless you with great comfort during this time.
