Pamela Kay Lewis passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023. A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 2:00PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel.
Pamela was born on May 3, 1958, in Snyder, Texas. She was the eldest of three children born to Kay Wayne Lewis and Lucy Cathcart Lewis. Pam graduated in the top of her class from Midland Lee High School and Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Baylor University.
After graduating from college, Pam returned to her hometown of Midland to pursue a career. After working for various employers, she landed at her dream job as Senior Engineering Tech for Fasken Oil and Ranch, where she worked for over 24 years. She didn’t just work at Fasken; she became part of the family there and made lifelong friends with her fellow employees. She always commented that she enjoyed her job so much that she never wanted to retire.
Pam had a passion for travel. Her adventures led her all over the world, typically aboard a Princess Cruise Ship. She also loved reading and watching old movies. Her greatest passion, however, was her dogs. There was never a time in her life when she didn’t have at least one rescued dog. She was mother to three adorable fur babies at the time of her death.
Pam is survived by her sister Karen Beth Lewis, brother Kevin Wayne Lewis and wife Roxann Lewis, niece Cristen Lewis Lott and husband Christopher Lott, niece Candice Lewis Blaylock and husband John Blaylock, and great nephew Grant Lewis Blaylock. Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Lucy Cathcart Lewis and Kay Wayne Lewis.
