Pablo Urias Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Midland, Texas, on April 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pablo was born on July 20, 1946. He married the love of his life, Lenore Bustamante Urias, on April 20, 1968, in Fort Davis, Texas.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Lenore Urias; his children, Paul Urias (Haylie), Danny Urias (Michelle), Christina Urias, and Matilda Urias; and his cherished grandchildren, Isaac Urias (Scottye), Marissa Urias (Megan), Caleb Urias, Carson Urias, Camron Urias (Caydence), Bently Kuzmich, and Easton Kuzmich, three great-grandchildren, brothers, Asuncion Urias, Carlos Urias, Mario Urias, Baltazar Urias, and Frank Urias; his sisters, Herminia Martinez, Josefina Rodriguez, and Eustolia Urias; their spouses, many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pablo Urias Sr.; his mother, Socorro Urias; and his sister, Mary Harvey.
Pablo will be remembered for his love for his family and his humor. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
His family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Daniel Copeland, his nurse, Wendy, Dr. Meda and Hospice of Midland. You all have a special place in our hearts.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 6:00pm-8:00pm, Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. A memorial service will take place at 10:30am, Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.
